As an officiant who regularly performs wedding ceremonies throughout Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Big Sur State Parks, I've made permit coordination a core part of what I offer. I complete and submit the permit applications on your behalf, manage the back-and-forth with park staff, and carry my own liability insurance — the same insurance the parks require — which saves couples money compared to sourcing event coverage independently.

The permit cost is simply added onto my ceremony fee. No surprises, no extra invoices.
