We Just Want to Make It Legal
No vows, no guests, no ceremony—just the two of you, your marriage license, and a signature to make it legal without the ceremony! This is a simple option provided with a smile.

State Park Permits

Eloping in the Santa Cruz Mountains Redwoods

There is something sacred about speaking your vows beneath the ancient redwoods, surrounded by quiet, dappled light and trees that have stood for centuries.

State Parks require liability insurance for every ceremony, which couples would normally need to purchase on their own. When I obtain your permits, my liability insurance covers this requirement at no additional cost, saving you about $100, along with one more piece of paperwork.

For gatherings of 10 people or fewer, I can secure a special redwood forest permit for $325. It covers your State Park ceremony permit, your photography permit, and the $50 administrative fee, so everything is taken care of in one simple step. You'll say your "I do's" among the redwoods, overlooking a beautiful creek that flows all year round.

Micro-Weddings or Reserving a Private Spot in a Redwood Grove. I can secure a permit for $925 that reserves a private redwood grove for you and your guests. It includes your State Park ceremony permit, your photography permit, and the $50 administrative fee, so you can gather your loved ones beneath the trees without any of the paperwork.

Available with the Micro-Wedding Package.

Garrapata State Park & Carmel River Beach

For ceremonies at Garrapata State Park or Carmel River Beach, I'm able to offer a discounted permit rate of $120, plus the $50 administrative fee, about half the usual cost.

This special rate is available exclusively with the Elopement Package.
